Revenge is one of the things Jesus encourage christians to avoid inMatthew 5:38-39 King James Version (KJV)

38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

The wrath of the wicked is revengful, the wicked tend to express his wrath by revenging.
Tho many at times to revenge is a natural and.emotional phenomenon but in the light of christianity we have to do away with trying to take revenge.

Revenge does not measure the evil its contemplates by the injury that he's excited it. In the case of haman who wants to get all the jews killed because morcedai did not bow down for him. The spirit of revenge is neccessarily unjust.

Many at times the spirit of revenge is encouraged by the possession of power.Haman's pride was inflated by the favour of the king. The might of the empire was in his hand so that made him exert to its fullest the extent of the affront of.mordecai.

The spirit of revenge on man is not godly but demonic. Whatever and how revenge may come it is hateful to God. In Romans 12:21, we are encouraged not to repay evil with evil.

We should always know that vegence is of the Lord.
Tho many at times it is had for us as human to forgive our brethen but its a thing of joy when we do so because many things are saved and rescued.

Many problems, wars and destruction that has happened in the world today is a proceed from revenge.
