The bible is silly #6: God is evil

in #christianity5 years ago

God is evil!

If you accept that god is all-knowing and all-powerful than you must accept that god knew, before he created all that is, that:

1.

The devil would fall from heaven to punish those of us who God deemed unworthy.

2.

Eve would eat from the apple.

3.

Humans would turn out sinful.

4.

The bible wouldn't give sufficient evidence for his existence

5.

To believe something without evidence is make-believe.

6.

Countless people would suffer enormously.

7.

He could've created people without sin in the first place.

8.

He could've created a universe that was hospitable to life. Instead most of the universe is dark and hostile to life.

9.

He could've created a world without cancer and other diseases.

10.

He could've made himself known, unambiguously, to everyone.

I therefore conclude that there most likely isn't a god. If there is, he is one evil asshole or incompetent at the least. And the list above covers just a few examples.

Sort:

No, God isn't evil.

  1. The devil doesn't punish people.
  2. Yes, God knew that mankind would sin but he created us anyway. That's absolutely awesome of God.
  3. Yes, mankind is sinful. That doesn't make God evil.
  4. The Bible gives more than enough evidence for Satan's existence and God's existence.
  5. There's plenty of evidence to believe in God. The Bible is filled with examples where God interacted with men and gave messages to them.
  6. There is suffering in the world. That doesn't make God evil.
  7. God DID create mankind without sin. But they chose to sin. Every person ever born since then, except for Jesus, has the same sin nature.
  8. God is free to create whatever universe he wanted. It doesn't matter if the universe is filled with life or if the earth is the only place it exists.
  9. God created a world without disease but mankind sinned.
  10. God makes himself known to those that earnestly seek him. We have the Bible. We have the written testimony of the Old Testament prophets and of those who knew Jesus. And God said this,

(Romans 1:18-20 NIV) The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, {19} since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. {20} For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Everything points to god being one evil MF.

  1. You are right, God is the creator of all, the final judge and the one bearing responsibility for any punishment.
  2. If God knew mankind would sin, yet created us anyway, how can we possibly have free will? And how is it not evil for him to create us knowing full well that his creation would sin and be punished for it by eternal damnation? He knew it was going to happen yet he damned anyone unlucky enough to be born without knowledge of the bible, or without the constitution to believe on lacking evidence, never mind the countless of people that couldn't have known about him or his deal because they were born before anyone talked or wrote about him and/or Jezus. Despicable!
  3. God created man imperfectly. He knew in advance mankind would sin. He knew in advance he would punish his imperfect creation for their inherent flaws. How is that not evil?
  4. And no, the bible is not sufficient evidence by any reasonable measure.
  5. Again, the bible is not sufficient evidence by any reasonable measure.
  6. God created everything, also suffering. Yet you say that does not make him evil? He could've created a world without suffering. He could've sent us all te heaven from the get go. A place without sin, evil and suffering. Even potentially bad people couldn't possibly commit evil in heaven because heaven is without such things by definition. Yet he choose not to send us there from the start. EVIL!
  7. How is it a choice if god set everything up in such a way that he knew what would happen from the get go? It is not. He could've made the garden of Eden without the tempting fruit for instance. He didn't. Ergo, evil!
  8. Exactly. He therefore was free to choose to create a world in such a way everything would've turned out nicely. Without the confusion, without disease, without suffering, without temptation and sin.
  9. Again, he knew man would sin before he ever started the damn project. If not, he is not all-knowing. Why do you fail to grasp this simple logic?
  10. I am hereby proclaiming I am searching for him. Like I have proclaimed many times. He may show himself to may, or strike me down. Why does this not happen? Because there is no god.

Bible quotes ain't gonna cut it! The bible is a pile of silly BS.

Your answer to point 9. makes absolutely no sense. Why animals are diseased? Why plants? What have they sinned?
