Shalom! Happy Hanukkah dear Steemit community, friends and followers!!! May this festival of lights be a very special and happy time for all my Steemian followers!
As most people know, Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday. It is an eight days celebration of light, representing eight days when God showed his miracle to Jews who were re-dedicating Jewish Temple in Jerusalem to the Almighty God - the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. At that time, one vessel of oil, enough for only one day to keep menorah lights burning continuously, miraculously lasted for an entire eight-days period, providing warm light and allowing Jews to complete cleanup and re-dedication of the Holy Temple to the service to God.
