When we man try to do things in our way we end up hitting a road block that is if we are not consume. With God guarding and leading all things end up well for us. Thats why in our life we must decrease so that God can increase, taking up His throne in our life and begin to reign. Being under the Lordship of God is a thing every one of us must strive to achieve.

David could succeed because from the onset in his life he recognised the important of God Kingship and the blessing associated to it. He never stood up to challenge God Kingship neither did claim the right to do and do as some king will do. He quickly ran to God when he realised his sins and mistakes asking for mercy and forgiveness, humble himself before God because God is king above all and without Whom we are nothing.
