LEST WE FORGET
The only difference between a lost man and a saved one is Christ. The gospel message is not a call for us mortals to dialogue with God or play some sort of spiritual game like, “Let’s Make a Deal.” The true Gospel is a Divine ultimatum to either repent and receive Christ as your Savior, or go to Hell. Enough of this watered down gospel that is NO gospel!! Any message that neglects a call for godly sorrow for our sin and then ignores, minimizes, or adds anything to the shed blood of the Savior as the only ground for our redemption is a false gospel.
Every “false gospel” is a lie that can only end in the eternal damnation of its followers. Any perversion or substitution of the true Gospel should be exposed, repudiated, and openly opposed by every biblical Christian. There is never a valid reason for a biblical believer to remain in any alleged "church" that holds forth such a false gospel. It matters not how many friends or family attend such a place or that it has been the “family’s church” since its founding. Once a church has apostatized it will never return to be a bible-believing assembly.
Another point to remember is this. After 45 years of preaching, I am convinced that it is the absence of love for Christ, not its fullness, that makes us so critical and harsh and unforgiving toward our Christian brethren when they stumble or are weak and inconsistent. Fanny Crosby in her wonderful gospel song, “Rescue the Perishing” said this:
“Down in the human heart crushed by the tempter,
Feelings lie buried that grace can restore;
“Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness,
Chords that are broken will vibrate once more.”
“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” [Eph. 5:31,32.] WEN

Thank you for the kind words. I am only a sinner who trusted Christ as my Savior in 1967,,I was a "kid" soldier at Walter Reed hospital, and home on leave from the hospital when I heard the gospel for the first time. What a wonderful Savior is our Lord Jesus Christ.
