Does your mind get filled up with good thoughts or worries? The future or the past? The challenges or the opportunities?
Is your perspective of a glass half-full or half-empty?

Our minds were created so scarily powerful that it is still faster (stronger) than many top computers put together!! And when you and I continually choose to DWELL on the things that are not beneficial (like our past failures or hurts), it can begin to impact our lives detrimentally!

Today we are going to continue from the same chapter, just the next verse...

In Philippians 4:8 the NLT Bible says...

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

What's the Formula?

Always Think... of what's TRUE (not Lies or Misleading)
Always Think... of what's HONOURABLE (not Crooked or Deplorable)
Always Think... of what's RIGHT (not Wrong or Evil)
Always Think... of what's PURE (not Invalid or Indecent)
Always Think... of what's LOVELY (not Repulsive or Insignificant)
Always Think... of what's ADMIRABLE (not Inferior or Unworthy)
Always Think... of what's EXCELLENT (not Ordinary or Common)
Always Think... of what's WORTHY OF PRAISE (not Blame or Criticism)

WOW... I PRAY you got that into your system!!!

Many times, when you and I are down, we often are led astray -- to think about those other things that are NOT the True, Honourable, Right, Pure, Lovely, Admirable, Excellent and Worthy of Praise.
