What Do You Stand To Lose: God Requires Less From Us

HONESTLY, WHAT DO YOU STAND TO LOSE:
Let me ask you: "Is GOD against your happiness; is He simply there to make sure you don't have fun? Does He make so much commandments to see you don't enjoy your life?" If you read your Bible very well, you will discover GOD actually takes delight in you enjoying yourself and blessing the work of your hands. In fact, that is GOD's greatest joy. The wisest man that lived, Solomon himself said: "There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God," (Ecclesiastes 2:24). We see something similar in Ecclesiastes 8:15 "So I recommend having fun, because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. That way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun." Indeed, instances abound all over the Bible where GOD takes delight in His Children enjoying life.

A holistic review of the Bible clearly shows that all the commandments and rules given by God are not to suppress or to make our lives harder, but just to actually improve our relationships with our fellow human beings. The greatest commandment of GOD is 'LOVE' (Love of GOD , and neighbour). "Do not kill, steal, embezzle money meant for pensions, employment and infrastructure; do not sit on your neighbour's promotion; do not sleep with someone's wife/husband; do not lie, worship GOD, don't slander, don't be jealous/envious etc are all aimed at making sure that as we go about enjoying ourselves, we do not do that at the expense of our fellow human beings.

The evil one in his cunning ways has taken advantage of fake pastors to invent strange and mis-construed rules and anti-christian commandments and doctrines aimed at scaring people away from serving GOD and taking their happiness and peace of mind away. These strange rules are painted in such a way that they look as if they are from GOD. The funny thing is that they cannot defend these teachings using the Bible; If you challenge them with Bible facts, they begin to scare you with curses; is that not demonic? Some teachings on the so called pre-marital sex, fornication, masturbation, contraceptives, tithing etc are very controversial, yet not based on the Bible. They are just agents used by satan to scare people away from Christianity. No wonder the Bible says "My People perish because of lack of knowledge" ( Hosea 4:6,Job 36:12,Proverbs 5:23,Proverbs 10:21)

I ask you again, what do you stand to lose? What is driving you away from the LOVE of GOD? Just imagine giving yourself a little inconveniences here and they, a little discomfort and probably disagreement from your friends, then you come to to inherit eternal happiness after your sojourn on earth, just by living and letting others live: "LIVE AND LET LIVE."

Now, imagine when you die, you discover that there is actually a SUPREME BEING, but because of what your friends will say, because of just a little discomfort, because you will have to live within your means; just because of your covetousness, 'you eat your own and eat that of others', because of your greed you eliminate everyone that stands on your way, it didn't stop there, you spent your few days on earth, mocking GOD and Christians, making jest of believers, discouraging others from obtaining salvation for themselves, you lose heaven, and are now condemned to everlasting torment, just because of a few years (yes, even if you live for 150 years, it's nothing compared to eternity).. Whatever inconveniences you may experience on earth is not substantial enough to cost you your soul...may it not be your portion in JESUS's name.

I encourage everyone to take time to study the Bible and discover real truth about what GOD requires of us. Do not let fake pastors scare you away from GOD because of their false teachings. Our LORD JESUS CHRIST himself made it clear that Christianity is easy, and only in Him can you find rest: "Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light" (Mathew 11:28-30).
