Last week, I was late to church and caught the tail end of the sermon.

However, the message is what I needed to hear and what I hope you are open to hearing! There is only one version of Family. Family begins with father God, family is between a man and a women, and family is where you find yourself.

Men, sex, a game of throw and catch, and so much more.

Men throw and women catch and something is created. Family may begin with you, but it doesn’t end with you.

Take care of your kids.

A quarterback will be the leader of a team. He’s in the best position to lead, to view the entire field and guide the team. Likewise, men were giving the same blessing and honor. Many men neglect the call to take care of their families.What happens when a man doesn’t understand his calling, his position, his leadership?

Like men who have kids and stay, but don't invest in their families—they have lost vision of their calling.

When the husband doesn’t understand his position.

The family suffers

When the wife doesn’t understand her position.

The family suffers

When the child doesn’t understand his position.

The family suffers

It’s like a lambo with no engine.

The enemy does this by first disconnecting us from the father so we lose sense of our place. Breaks the direction. Like a car without a steering wheel. From the outside it looks like it’s there, but the action and reality tell you otherwise.

1. Affected the vision
   How we see ourselves. When the husband allows the wife to lead, the husband loses his direction. Like Adam and Eve, they realized they were naked after she offered the fruit and he ate it. Like Christian schools that have inappropriate uniforms. If the church can’t get it right, then the world won’t.

The Family system

Women feel more alone than being single. More like an unwanted stepchild than a helper. Do you know what that means, do understand the value, the importance of having a helper? Someone willing to get under you, to pray for you and with you. When a man loses his vision of his family, he becomes the back seat driver. Like the quarterback saying the lineman said he can throw, so why not?

When the relationship with the family is lost, the vision is lost.

1. When we lose vision we have no regard for one another.

To blame, to disrespect, to hurt with words to the people that mean the most to us. Some people become so accustomed to talking down to people that it becomes acceptable when it shouldn’t be.

What brings life to glorify God is the tongue and so is what brings death. Watch what you say.

1. How we hear God was affected.
   Enter the relationship admitting we made a mistake, instead of blaming others for it. God is looking for you to confuse with your mouth and repent in your heart. God is looking for people that aren’t holding on to their faults and trying to fix it themselves.

God’s not angry with you, he wants to fix what you broke.

The Christian Family is broken. Because we have a problem with our eyes, ears, and heart... Trust that where God placed you is where you are meant to be and find yourself. Even with adaptation. God places you where you need to be called to be...
