A Song Of Praise Music Festival Year 7 Grand Finals Night. A very rewarding experience!
Once again I was able to witness another history in the Philippines. ASOP Year 7 Grand Finals was held at the famous New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City last night November 11, 2018.
A Song Of Praise Music Festival is the only praise song writing competition in the Philippines. This show was conceptualize for Television and was first aired year 2011. Now it's on its 7th year, bringing originally composed praise song dedicated to God. This is a competition for music enthusiast, amateur and professional song writer to compose song that will praise God. The unique concept was made possible by Brakethrough & Milestone Production Inc., CEO Dr. Daniel Razon and MCGI Overall Servant Brother Eliseo Soriano.
Last night, I was among those people who graced the occasion. I was seated in-front of the stage to witness the competition. I was treated to a VIP seat to witness twelve grand final songs sung by known artists in the Philippine music industry. Here under, were the list of participant for the night.

The panel of judges include Doktor Musico Mon Del Rosario, Record producer Pat Castillo, OPM hitmaker Rannie Raymundo, ASOP Year 2 Grand Winner songwriter Boy Christopher Ramos, award-winning director Jose Javier Reyes and Philippine opera diva Fides Cayugan-Asensio.
My Favorites
I enjoyed all the 12 song entries. I also like the song "BANAL MONG SALITA". However, the Song Of The Year went to "TUGTOG" composed by John Paul Salazar and interpreted by BRADZ.
