Introduction

Training for the opcoming tournament it seems important to stay playing chess, this game might not be so well played, I didn't play the best moves, but even so my opponent played a lot worse, there is a nice tactical finish to this game, that is the main reason I decided to write this article.

A45 Trompowsky Attack

This opening has sort of become my new choice as white against the Indian setups, so perhaps I should do a little studying on this before the opcoming tournament.


2...d5 3.Bxf6 exf6 4.e3 Bd6 5.Bd3




I choose this since this is the piece I am most sure about where it should go, I did not want to play Nf3 immediately, it might have been good, but I did not see a lot of a future for this knight there.



5...O-O 6.Ne2 Bg4




Aggressive but possibly bad, since this bishop could end up lost or really passive



7.Nd2 Nc6 8.c3 Re8 9.Nf3 f5 10.Qc2 g6 11.O-O-O Na5 12.h3 Bh5




This seems like a mistake!



13.Rdg1 Nc4 14.g4




This is just really nice.



14...fxg4 15.hxg4 Bxg4 16.Rxg4 Nxe3 17.fxe3 Rxe3 18.Bxg6




This tears blacks defenses up, probably black should be dead here already.



18...Rxf3 19.Bxh7+




This is purely a disaster. Black resigns.
