Chess: An interesting position. An interesting sideline from a local tournament.

Even though this did not happen on the board I found the position very intriguing, I had to analyze what happens on g4.
but the computer confirms my suspicion that black is doing okay from there.
After
1.g4 Nxg4 2.hxg4 Bxg4 3.Re3

I had a suspicion that black is doing fine although my variation with either Bd4 or Bh6 might not be the best, the idea is based on exploiting the pin of the knight to regain material and kill white's king.

Anyway this was a funny thing I thought about during the game.
