Yes, you read that title right! The price to become a "Minnow" on the Steem Blockchain is only around $160 on April 26th, 2019. 📆
If you are not a "Minnow", you may have some problems. 🤷♂️
There should be no excuses why every single person on the Steem Blockchain can't be a Minnow at the very least.
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah... I can just hear all the excuses coming in right now!
"Charles, I don't have the money"
"Charles, I plan to invest later"
"Charles, what if the price goes lower"
"Charles, I rather earn Steem than buy"
etc... etc... etc... What ever it is, I heard them all... bunch of excuses. 🤦
I'm not here to preach to you all but "Excuses" are just "Excuses". Everyone has them and that is one of the main reasons why most people fail in life.
You see, when I joined the Steem Blockchain on May 2017...
I didn't just come on Steem to make excuses and complain like getting no upvotes, the website sucks, only whales vote for each other, blah blah blah.
I wanted to invest in the project, become an active member, be part of the community, meet new people, and share/document my life to people who wanted to see.
When doing anything, you must invest (in yourself or projects)... in other words, have some damn "Skin in The Game" if you want some success. 🤑
Yeah, some might think it's risky but were just talking about $160 to become a "Minnow" (that's it)!
Fuck, I remember buying thousands of steem at over $1 when I joined and it didn't do shit for 6 months until the bull run of December 2017.
Did I lose money? Hell No! I made and earned so much Steem that I took tons of profits when Steem went to $3-$7 last year.
Now I see the same thing happening again... Steem is around .33 as I write this. Can Steem go lower?
Fuck yeah it can, but guess what? Steem can go to over $1 easily in couple of months or even higher when the next bull run starts in 2020!
Alright enough of my little rant... What I'm trying to say is that if you want to be successful on Steem, make at least a damn effort and become a minnow.
Start investing in yourself and grow with Steem, you will not regret it.
Oh yeah, this isn't financial advice! If you lose it all, you should blame yourself for reading some random dude like myself on the internet! 🤣
With that being said, everyone that's not a minnow should become one right now for $160! If you don't have the Money, then WTF are you doing here for hours everyday wasting your time?
Go find a way to make $160! Shit, if I didn't have $160 right now, I would find a way.
I would be doing some odd jobs for couple of days and make that money to invest instead of wasting time and complaining on Steemit for months getting nothing done.

Lotta whining and moaning and "I quits" with altcoin swoon of the last 24 hours. Someone might have to lay off of Starbucks for a month to become a minnow. And would just be too big of a sacrifice. Heck add another $1300 and you are most the way to dolphin. Can't beat that.
You hit the nail on the head! I know people who drinks Starbucks everyday spending $4-$5 a pop and then complain that they can’t invest in crypto. What a crazy world we live in 🤯😅

I stop working because I became a stay-at-home-mom ever since my son has CDH health issue when born. Steem gives me hope again.
So I work hard, blogging here, connect with people like crazy in the early stage, joining contest, etc, curate curate nonstop. And with the SBD earned, I bought Steem to power up. Does that count? Lol...I am not sure. Haha. 😁
Keep some Steem too for rainy days in case son needs emergency whatsoever. That is not the main point. Main point, Steem gives me hope again. Used to feel stucked at home but now I can connect with people globally. Glad to know you too.
Here I learn about crypto and blockchain. Steem is my first crypto. 😂

I'm cruising along as a part-time Steemian and I took advantage of great Steem/Dogecoin ratio to Block trade a few tranches of Dogecoin for Steem to become a Minnow Because I was tired up-voting dust. Didn't have to spend a cent as I accumulated the Dogecoin free via faucets a few years prior.
For me it's better that I earn my way to being a minnow. I feel it's so much worth it to become a minnow by earning it. Yes we can buy our way into being a minnow but it never crossed my mind to ever do that. 😄
Perhaps I like to do things the hard way? I dunno. There are things I prefer to go the easy route but this seems to not be one of them. 😊

I feel you on that! I have about 5 more days on Coinbase till I can add some more steem. Such a pain 🙄. Glad you said it though so many at like 20 steem that just want upvotes and don’t really provide anything to steem.

What do you think about meOS which EOS is supposed to release in June which will likely be a social platform that competes with steemit ? Do you think that will damage the price of our steem?
I have no idea but I do have a bag of EOS. If they come out with a social media platform, I’ll be using both 😬😀

Like you said, you’ve heard it all before. I doubt it’s because they don’t have it. I’m sure they just don’t want too. Ive decided to keep writing to pay for my volleyball training in August. Are you working towards something these days outside the norm?
If they have it but they don’t want is probably why the “average” person tend to fail.
I seen it all the time for being an entrepreneur for over 20 years. They all want to make money while most don’t invest in themselves or the business itself. They want it handed to them which is a shame.
I’m always working On stuff. There so many things getting created on the blockchain but as for Steem, it’s a social media platform for me to document my Interest and a little small portion of my investment. 🤷🏼♂️😂

I just became a minnow a couple of days ago. It wasn’t because I was posting and upvoting. It was from buy a little bit of steem at a time. I can’t imagine how long it would take to break out of minnow if I don’t buy steem.
