RANDOM CHANCE?
How do you define random chance. If you set out to create life and you send DNA into space going in multiple directions and some crash into comets, some land on planets or soon to be planets that can't support them. You could call this random chance when the intent was to systematically cultivate new life. Things that are a result of organized, systematic processes can appear to be random because we can't see the organization in them.
