CHAMPIONS LEAGUE JUVENTUS - TOTTENHAM AND FC BASEL - MANCHESTER CITY
Hello, first of all sorry for my English, it's not perfect I know that but I will improve all the time :)
Today we have two Champions League matches, I think both on two different poles - on first one I think we don't have strong favorite, on second team from blue side of Manchester is one and only true favorite.
Let's focus on Juventus - Tottenham
Injuries - in this field definitely bigger headache have Massimiliano Allegri, because he can't use on this match such a players like Howedes, Cuadrado, Matuidi, Barzagli, and, what is most worried - Paulo Dybala, who looks great this season. Mauricio Pocchettino can't count only for services of Toby Alderweireld.
Experience - Juventus Torino is like grandfather compared to Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham played in that stage at season 2010/2011, when they won in Group A (Inter Milano, Twente, Werder Bremen). In last 16 they beat A.C. Milano (1:0,. 0:0,.). After that, in quarter-finals they lose against Real Madrid (0:4,. 0:1,.).
Juventus Torino, from season 12/13 always achieved at least last 16 stage (only 13/14 they were 3rd in the group stage). They reached Champions League final that time twice - seasons 14/15, 16/17 - both loses. That's one of the most electrifying duel of strikers in last 16 stage. Kane so far scored 6 goals in CL this season, Higuain only 2, but still he is one of the most dangerous strikers in the world. But Harry Kane this season looks like goal-machine, almost every touch of the ball smells like goal and he can be the greatest winner of this season if he still will be playing like this. Rumors about 250.000.000 Euro for him and interest of the biggest clubs (I've heard even Juventus Torino want to have him on the team) shows how good he is this season.
Summarazing, I think this will be one of the best match in last 16 CL stage. Both team are characterized by different qualities :
Juventus - strong defence, iron tactics
Tottenham - strong offensive,players who can change the match solo.
