Flying High Looking Down

Today on the news we hear that a chunk of ice the size of the State of Delaware is expected to break off from Antarctica. Yet still there are folks who think global warming is not real. We hear that astronauts generally speak in awe of the beauty of the earth. Scott Kelly, recently returned, spoke of how much more the environment means to him now. The glaciers in Glacier National Park continue to disappear. There were around 150 when the place became a national park. Now there are 25. When those of us who are not astronauts fly, we can still see the awesome beauty of nature. I’m hopeful humans can solve this problem successfully.
