It's good that they don't have too much of a budget to make up.
The fundamental storytelling, cliche as it is, is actually not quite that bad, and there's a lot of good comic relief. It stretches thin, but it's clear that the intent is tongue-in-cheek rather than entirely serious.
Who wore it better: Manborg or Terminator: Salvation?
