En Venezuela, desde muy pequeños, nuestra educación siempre estuvo llena de referencias, historias de grandes batallas, retratos y valientes relatos sobre éste ilustre personaje. Por ello, me atrevo a afirmar con seguridad que no existe venezolano alguno que no sepa quien fue él.
Simón José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar Palacios Ponte y Blanco (¡Gracias ha dios no tuvo cédula de identidad!)
Su valía, su actitud indómita, su voluntad inquebrantable y su ideal de justicia, estarán inmortalizados en la memoria y, su perpetuidad en el tiempo seguirá siendo irrebatible...
