Censorship is it the new norm? Should these tech companies bear Any Responsibility? Should we just Stop using them?

in #censorship6 years ago (edited)

I wake up this morning to an anniversary message from Twitter, as they had suspended my account after harassing me and locking me out numerous times for respectfully calling out Pedo Accounts and reporting truth. It's not my fault they are pedos. Nor is it my fault Evil hates Light!

Dark to Light!

I appealed and appealed, but to no avail. They just kept sending me messages that I wasn't falling in the "Guidelines of their community standards." I.e. endorsing, condoning, normalizing pedophile behavior.

So I finally just went to another account. . .which they also have locked me out of and harass.

Apparently the block chain likes to boost moral by letting us know it's our "anniversary!" Or is actually just taunting us?

The nerve of Twitter! We know what you're up to Dorsey!
Remember this article Q linked to? From Tech Crunch,
Twitter says bug may have exposed some direct messages to third-party developers. . .I believe we know Who the bug is and What is behind it! Did you have help from your buddy Brin? Remember when WSJ reported this? Google opted not to disclose to users its discovery of a bug that gave outside developers access to private data. It found no evidence of misuse. Nice try but we know about the confiscated emails, logins, password and financial info stolen and floating on the dark web!

Interestingly enough. . .Twitter and other social media along with GOOG running YouTube were recently called out by Qanon and a series of articles.

Here is the Wall Street Journal article Q linked

Google Exposed User Data, Feared Repercussions of Disclosing to Public

Google exposed the private data of hundreds of thousands of users of the Google+ social network and then opted not to disclose the issue this past spring, in part because of fears that doing so would draw regulatory scrutiny and cause reputational damage, according to people briefed on the incident and documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.

There is also a video on WSJ you can see under 5 minutes which covers. . .

The Meaning of Life According to Google
Google handles 90% of the world's internet searches, and it increasingly is promoting a single answer for many questions. Even subjective or unanswerable queries sometimes get seemingly definitive answers. Here's how the algorithms are -- and aren't -- working. Facebook Security Breach Exposes Accounts of 50 Million Users

Facebook, already facing scrutiny over how it handles the private information of its users, said on Friday that an attack on its computer network had exposed the personal information of nearly 50 million users.

The breach, which was discovered this week, was the largest in the company’s 14-year history. The attackers exploited a feature in Facebook’s code to gain access to user accounts and potentially take control of them.

Three software flaws in Facebook’s systems allowed hackers to break into user accounts, including those of the top executives Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg, according to two people familiar with the investigation but not allowed to discuss it publicly. Once in, the attackers could have gained access to apps like Spotify, Instagram and hundreds of others that give users a way to log into their systems through Facebook.

Looks like the "one size fits all," is Not Working. People Should not sign into other accounts using their info from another.

Perhaps it is wiser to sign into each account individually no matter who owns them.

Yes, they still track, but another layer of security if it All isn't linked.

The software bugs were particularly awkward for a company that takes pride in its engineering: The first two were introduced by an online tool meant to improve the privacy of users. The third was introduced in July 2017 by a tool meant to easily upload birthday videos.

Really? So once again. . .something we are told is going to help us, is actually harming us? .

Ya don't say!

Facebook said it had fixed the vulnerabilities and notified law enforcement officials. Company officials do not know the identity or the origin of the attackers, nor have they fully assessed the scope of the attack or if particular users were targeted. The investigation is still in its beginning stages.

Why Thank You Facebook! No I can just sit back and wait for the police to get All my stolen info off the dark web!

All can rest easy now!

Twitter says bug may have exposed some direct messages to third-party developers

https://techcrunch.com/2018/09/21/twitter-bug-sent-user-direct-messages-to-developers-for-over-a-year/

Twitter said that a “bug” sent user’s private direct messages to third-party developers “who were not authorized to receive them.”

The social media giant began warning users Friday of the possible exposure with a message in the app.

“The issue has persisted since May 2017, but we resolved it immediately upon discovering it,” the message said, which was posted on Twitter by a Mashable reporter. “Our investigation into this issue is ongoing, but presently we have no reason to believe that any data sent to unauthorized developers was misused.”

WHAT?

Then Why do people have to keep reiterating so they are Not Suspended or Locked out of Their Accounts?

A spokesperson told TechCrunch that it’s “highly unlikely” that any communication was sent to the incorrect developers at all, but informed users out of an abundance of caution.

Translated. . .*The cat's out of the bag, now we have to make like we care!
