How is the electromagnetic force used?
The treatment that quantum physics makes of electromagnetism is known as quantum electrodynamics or QED. In this theory the field is associated with a massless particle called a photon, whose interactions with charged particles are the cause of all phenomena of electromagnetism.
Electromagnetism is a branch of physics that studies and unifies electric and magnetic phenomena in a single theory, whose foundations were presented by Michael Faraday and formulated for the first time in a complete way by James Clerk Maxwell.
Example of Magnetic Force. Electrically charged particles, such as electrons, when they are in motion produce a force called magnetic force.
Applications of electromagnetism. It has multiple applications, since it appears when there is an electrical current and disappears when the electric current ceases. It is a type of magnet in which the magnetic field is produced by the flow of an electric current, disappearing as soon as the current ceases.

Electromagnetism is a category of physics that refers to magnetism produced by an electric current.
Although it seems difficult to understand as a field of study, these types of phenomena have appeared in our life since ancient times. Its use is so normal in objects and activities that we do every day, which goes unnoticed before our eyes.
This physical phenomenon that combines the electric field and the magnetic one, generates a field that we all know as: electromagnetic, although they can be studied separately to understand it.

Despite being a very old object, the best applied example of electromagnetism can be seen in the operation of the compass. Simple in structure and execution, the movement of the needles is based on the magnetic principles of the poles, and in the electrical ones by the interaction of the mechanism and friction that it generates.

Very enlightening post. I never would have guessed the compass worked on such a principle as electromagnetism. This has indeed broadened my knowledge. Thanks for sharing.
