30 DAYS CHALLENGE: Write something that someone told you about yourself that you never forget.

Hello steemians how are you all doing today, i miss here a lot and i hope same can be said to me too.

Its festive season so am sure you all know that there's a lot of activities going on around the world, some activities which are so important that they rob me of the little time i have in a day which take me far away from my blog.

I know it wont continue like that as each day i don't post on my blog i know how much i missed out, at the moment am back with the 30days writing challenge. The topic for today is boldly written above, so am asking again what is that thing that someone told you about yourself that you never forget? Be it good and not so good.

Where i come from there are not so good things people says to each other daily just like everywhere in the world and believe me i wouldn't want to go through all that on my blog and i will basically focus on the good things said to me.

For the record i have had a couple of good things said to me, i am not the flashy handsome type but those who said the good things to me made me feel so good about myself, they lifted my spirit and glorify God. I wouldn't be mentioning all of them but i will mention the one i felt standout from the rest and i hope you will agree with me on this...

I met her not quite long.
We were getting along fine.
Like a snail will with its shell.
We were destined to never depart.

Things were as smooth as a tile.
We were locking in smooth love.
Seen everywhere as an epitome of beauty.
She swept my feet off the earth with her smile.

When she smile it makes the sun looks like its not shining.
Her steps sexy like that of a zebra.
Her touch is magical.
Sprinkling dust sparkles through my whole body.

Make me a woman she said to me.
I believe i am lucky to have her in my life.
To be the one she thinks about day and night.
To be the one she calls her king.

With her my nights is never a cold one.
She grace me with her presence daily.
My cup over flows with her love.
I am never lacking her love.

I met her not by quite long.
Who knows if she will stay for long?
I hope she doesn't leave soon.
After all life always plays his game on us.
So we don't always get what we want...

The poem here reveal the thing she told me about myself that i never forget , the first line in the fourth stanza gives a glimpse of everything.

She was so beautiful i don't know how she fell in love with me, am quite sure it wasn't my look, definitely not my pocket or what i said to her the day i met her. I am obviously a very quiet person so its not something that i said to her, she must have seen something that i do not see in myself or maybe am just her type.

It was like magic, like i was in heaven every moment spent with her, it was magical. We were alone in the house one day and in the heat of the moment she paused and said to me "I noticed that you are a man of few words and i love you for that, pls make me a woman." the rest is history but what she said to me about myself that day sticks and i will never forget it.
