railway station barakhata
Barakhata Railway Station is always lively and full of people. The main reason is that trains coming from the very end of North Bengal—from Burimari and Patgram—are already packed with passengers. By the time the train arrives here, there is barely any room left to even stand. Yet, the rush of daily commuters never stops.
Our Barakhata station is actually quite clean and well-maintained. Since there is a market right next to the platform, it is very convenient to grab some quick snacks or do some light shopping. Previously, only local trains used to run on this route, but over time, rail communication has improved, and now intercity express trains also stop here.
I really enjoy the lively atmosphere of the station and watching the trains roll in. So, I captured a few nice video clips on my phone and edited them together. Through this short video, I tried to share a small picture of daily life at our local railway station.
