One of the most exciting fairs in the north of Bangladesh is the trade fair. This fair is held almost every year in the last months of the year in a field (Boro Math) of Dinajpur city. However, the 2024 fair was held a little late. The fair was held in early 2025. The pictures I shared today were taken at the fair in February. In this publication I will try to share some information with you about this fascinating fair.

There are numerous shops at the trade fair. So many shops are not usually seen in any other fair. And that is why this fair is one of the attractions for thousands of people. However, some items were missing in this fair that were in the last fair. In the last fair, I saw some traditional cakes that were not in this fair. Maybe because it was held late, cake-like foods were not available in the fair this time.

This year, there were several rides for children at the fair. Among these, multiple slides, water boats, Ferris wheels, etc. are notable. The number of products available at the fair cannot be overstated. These products include women's jewelry, plastic products, carpets, showpieces, toys, melamine, wooden products, bags, dolls, etc. You can buy a variety of products based on your preferences.

But I liked the different types of showpieces available at the fair the most. You can't see so many colorful showpieces anywhere else. I like going to the fair at night. Because the number of visitors to the fair increases at night and the fair seems more lively at this time.
This year marks the 18th annual trade fair in Dinajpur. Every year, the gate of the fair is decorated very beautifully, this year was no exception. And in the evening, the gate of the fair is illuminated with colorful lights, which looks amazing. And to enter the fair through this lovely-looking gate, you must pay 20 BDT, which is approximately $0.16.
