Survival Tips : Offgrid or Suburbia ?

What do you need to Live off the grid ?

Food is key….. and fresh clean Spring Water.

You do not need a 1/2 acre …

Suburbia on the Rideau, Ontario Canada .

I looked at the costs of going Off the Grid in Canada (septic, solar, Lithium batteries etc) and it is much better to live in a very small house in Suburbia where you can walk to a Farmer’s Market or Grocery store to buy food. And a Spring fed Lake.

I tried a garden and all the critters ate all my food. … huge waste of money. I refuse to spray pesticides and the bugs and mould will destroy all your crop.

I tried without chemicals and there are just too many insects that eat your crop …

So now I only grow apples.

2 trees.

No chemicals or pesticides …. and I get over 1,000 apples each season that I can sell or trade for other food.

Plant 2 dwarf apple trees. ($20 seedlings)

Money does grow on trees.
