Hello friends, how are you all? I hope you are all very well and healthy, I am also very well with your prayers and the grace of God.
Today is the first day of May, every year on May 1st, International Workers' Day is celebrated, this International Workers' Day is called May Day, this day is celebrated with great importance in all countries of the world including Bangladesh, on the occasion of International Workers' Day, workers of all countries of the world celebrate this day through various arrangements.
Various labor organizations also celebrate this day with great importance, apart from workers and labor organizations, various parties and various organizations organize various events on the occasion of this day, the main theme of all the arrangements is to explain the fair rights of workers, so that workers should never be deprived of their rights, so that the hard work of workers should never go in vain.
Every year on this day, International Workers' Day is celebrated in Bangladesh in various ways. As a part of this, all government and private institutions in Bangladesh are on holiday on this day. Every year, different targets are set to achieve the rights of workers. This year, the slogan of International Workers' Day is, workers and employers will build this country together. If this slogan can be implemented, then every worker will get his just rights back.
We must all give dignity to the suffering of workers. Workers work very hard by sweating their bodies. It is necessary to pay the price of their labor before the sweat dries on their bodies. That is why in our religion, Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) has ordered to pay the wages of the workers before their sweat dries. Workers should not be deprived of their full wages in any way. It is the responsibility of all of us to pay the full wages of the workers.
It is worth noting that on May 1, 1986, a movement was held in Chicago, USA, to set an 8-hour work day for workers. In that movement, in addition to setting an 8-hour work day, many other conditions were given to achieve the rights of workers. There, the police opened fire on the protesting workers, killing about fifty workers in the police firing. Protests began worldwide in protest of this killing.
Exactly three years after that movement, on July 14, 1889, the International Workers' Conference was held in Paris, France. At that conference, that day was recognized as May Day or International Workers' Day due to the deaths of workers in that movement in Chicago. Since then, International Workers' Day or May Day has been celebrated every year on May 1 in all countries of the world.
If workers receive their fair rights properly and are paid their wages properly, they will be more interested in their work, and if workers are interested in their work and do their work properly, only then will the employer benefit and the country develop. For this, workers must be paid their fair rights properly and their fair rights must be met.
Thanks everyone for reading my post today. |
