A Triumph of Memory: My Winning Streak on Steem Memory Game!

I recently had a gaming experience that made me feel excited and at the same time, mentally alert! I mean the amazing Steem Memory Game, a name that can teach you that even without complex graphics and storylines, you can enjoy a totally enjoyable and satisfying experience. This game is technically a simple memory-matching challenge, but the manner in which it is presented, as well as the fact that it involves the Steem blockchain, makes it so much more.

Today I had a single objective; trying to break my record and finish a round in record time. It is all a matter of concentration and thinking, as you can observe with the intuitive and friendly game interface Screenshot. There was a clock and a grid of face-down cards. Each time I flipped the card my brain was overworking itself to remember not only what was on the card, but also where to find it.

My work was rewarded today in a great measure! It took me only 1 minute and 48 seconds to fill the entire board with a total of 28 moves to locate all the ten perfect matches. The 1397 Screenshot is a demonstration of the speed and efficiency of my movements. The scoring mechanism of the game is marvelously straightforward, and it gives you a reward based on the combination of speed, low moves, and perfect matches. This renders all the decisions viable.

But the magic of the Steem Memory Game really occurs once the game is complete. My achievement was automatically recorded to the blockchain of Steem in an immutable and publicly visible way. The Permalink and the Transaction ID, are evidence of my achievement, something to share and to reflect on. This is a very powerful feature that can turn what was once a simple game into a rewarding and provable on-chain experience.

It is astonishing that a game which appears to be so simple can be so highly involved. Finding the match, beating the clock, and watching your score on the blockchain all contribute to making Steem Memory Game a game to play. I am already looking forward to my second session to determine whether I will be able to increase my time and score.
