MacroPhotography Challenge Week 15 || The Mushroom Beetles In My Lens

The Mushroom Beetles
The Mushroom Beetles
The mushroom beetles from the Erotylidae family appear to have attractive colors. Commonly distributed in the tropics and often seen brightly colored with orange patterns on its body. In general, this beetle eats mushrooms, so it is called a mushroom beetle. Although there are also a small number that drill into wood and eat wood sap, people are more familiar with this beetle consuming mushrooms.

These insects from the order Coleoptera have two pairs of shrouded wings that can harden and thicken according to the situation. It has a hard head of varying size and two long antennae on the head that function as olfactory organs. The sense of smell is even able to physically feel the surrounding environment which other types of insects do not have. Hope you like it and thanks for visiting my blog.
