Being alone is no problem. I like it especially if there's no need to do anything which is rarely the case. I seem to always find a way to keep myself more busy then necessary which results in a lack of time.
I've been there: surrounded by many and feeling lonesome and miserable. Glad those days are far behind me (it is also great to be a grown up and simply stay away if I don't like the environment or the people or the crowd).

I understand what you are saying. I feel the same way too. There is always something to do, something to keep me occupied. I feel twenty four hours in a day is not enough. And I am a retiree! Nowadays, I often wonder how people who have a full time job can have time for anything.
