RE: Today... A Promising Menu
You lack the poker face ๐ค so do I. Honesty isn't rewarded, lies are and laziness wins. We see that everywhere. All one needs is admit (discussion closed) or lie, the smooth talking, no direct answer.
It's interesting how entire nations know politicians lie and people still give their vote and next are surprised or mad they are fooled
again.

Keeping quiet isn't always a good thing, especially if you feel you're being harmed for the benefit of someone else. I don't agree with that... I wasn't born that day. People need to be told the truth from time to time, without disrespecting them, of course; I've never thought that was right.
Recently, while traveling by bus, the driver made a stop at a commercial establishment: his alleged purpose was for us to shop, go to the bathroom, and take advantage of the opportunity to stretch our legs. I say his alleged purpose because, on the surface, it was for the benefit of the passengers, but in reality, the only one who benefited was him. The place was horrible, the service was poor, and the bathrooms were chaotic. On top of that, there was a long line to buy anything. The only one who benefited was him, of course, and who wouldn't stop at a place like that, if the establishment covers the driver's expenses as long as he brings innocent passengers like us.
Everyone was visibly upset, but no one dared to say anything. Why? I think that not doing so leads to it continuing to happen... That's something that happens in the world of politics as well. There are always more options.
I, at least, didn't hesitate to express my opinion to that driver once we resumed our journey... He was mortified, but he was the one who took us there.
Good example you gave. I've been there several times during bus travels and the driver or bus organisation always get paid.
It's good to speak out. If not awareness and change will never happen.

Of course I do. I travel every two weeks and have many stories to tell about those stops... I think I could even write about them; I don't know why I hadn't thought of it before ๐ค. The truth of the matter is that very little value is placed on the opinion of those who really matter, which is the customer and, in the case of these bus stops, the passenger, who becomes a double customer (of the bus and the commercial parking lot).
It's good to write reviews and help those who like to know what those travels look like. Once a busdriver dumped us at a restaurant. It looked abandoned, wasn't. We weren't even able to pay for the toilet since no one had the foreign currency and those debit cards/visa cards didn't exist with us. It was annoying and a total waste of travel time. I believe the bus needed 10 hours longer than the one after us ๐
