This is so not my colour, but the old damaged canvas was for free and I tried out something new. I made and poured each colour after I poured one. I did not treat the bubbles. Although I didn't like it at all, overnight it looks better and I see new shapes I couldn't see as I was finished.
Happy Oct 1st!

How long it takes to dry? I'm curious if you leave it at that, how long the colors would keep moving and changing.

In average the cilours only move when I tilt the canvas unless a lot of paint drips over thevsides. It's important to wioe that away (about 2-3 times wipe underneath) since the dripping paint pulls what is on the canvas to the sides.

With me most is dry within a few hours or next day. I paint in the kitchen, next mive it to the living, and next day it goesinto the basement to make room for something else and can continue drying if needed (it also depends on the temperature with you and how thick the layer with paint is).

Do you need to tape the side with masking tape?

No. Since you let the paint flow over the edges. No tape needed for fluid art / pouring paint.

I rarely use it. Rarely as in 3 times this year to try out something else.

🍀♥️

I saw a painting technique on Facebook yesterday. The artist was working on several separate canvas blocks simultaneously, which could be displayed as one piece or individually. It's always surprising how these works turn out. The beginning looked like complete chaos, with the artist carelessly applying paint, but the finished product was incredible.

I like that too but like my daughter said.. Where to leave or all?
🤣🤣🤣

Most of my walls are empty and white.

So it seems the day has a nice surprise in store for you.
I like to look for shapes. I see a kind of hurricane, a kind of waterfall, and there's a beautiful green mane of a woman, let's say she's an alien, hahaha.

An alien is always good. 🤣

Thank you for stopping by and caring about art.

A great weekend @saintkelvin17 / @steemcurator08

Even the most beautiful butterfly is born as an ugly caterpillar, and when it completes its transformation, the beauty we see in it changes... This is true of many things. What really changes? I say it is our way of seeing and thinking.

An interesting view yiu shared, tgank you.
I like caterpillars by the way. 🤣 There are very colourful ones though I like the green ones, and tgey feel sooo soft. 😍

The green ones? Where I live in Venezuela, the green ones are the worst. We mostly see them during mango season, and they're no good. Even if you touch them, you can get a fever. Not even birds eat them.

But everyone has their own tastes, and if you like the green ones, it's because you see something beautiful in them.

More this one. I remember a statue in a different area I went to as a child. Itvwas covered with them. I liked them. As children we let them crawl allover us. I doubt we were even aware it would be butterflies one day.

I never saw that many after my childhood.

I don't dislike toads or frogs; I pass them by, and they don't mess with me, I don't mess with them. It's a deal I make when I see them. They scare me but I don't hurt them.
Like, when I see the caterpillars; I don't take them with my hands, because I know from first intention that some are poisonous. In other words, many caterpillars have particles in their hairs or villi that can cause hives. So I approach them, take photos, I love their colors. If they are butterfly caterpillars, they are beautiful colors, if they are moth caterpillars, the colors are darker. Some are of the day and others are of the night.
All creatures of creation, If they do not harm me, I leave them where I find them.

How can a frog or toad mess with you? It's a small animal. With us they are protected. Unlike during my childhoid it's no longer allowed to eat them.

If the toads start moving with us people help during this period of the year the toads crosding the road. Harming them is not allowed. For sure they are animals we need. I like their funny faces and feet.

Just like crocodiles who always seem to smile if you study the shape of their mouth.

It happens that when you are afraid of an animal, instead of jumping in the opposite direction, it jumps towards you. This happened to me long before, because I was afraid of all animals. Not now, I try to tell them not to hurt each other and so they never jump towards me but somewhere else. Or they wait for me to pass by and they stay very still. Something that didn't happen before I learned to converse with them. This, without knowing if they understand me or not. I don't mind. I just want them to understand with the tone of my voice that we will not hurt each other.
In some plain regions of my region there are people who keep alligators as pets, in their backyards or in street food places.

It must be hard to be afraid of all animals. I've been attacked and bitten by many, at times in a very painful harming way but I never felt really scared. I do believe that animals understand. If not the words they feel what you mean.

♥️🍀

I would never have let anyone climb on my body, or even on my hands. Now, of course, just as I don't like caterpillars, there are many who don't like frogs either, and since I was a child I have never felt repulsed by touching them. I find it strange that caterpillars are pleasant to some people, but I'm sure @gertu doesn't think the same.

Thank you, so nice. 😍

There's no reason to 😊. Ultimately, if you really like caterpillars 😉

I like final shapes, the sea or the flow of nature, autumn, the end of a season and the birth of spring, wheat.
Red looks good next to green. Keep creating.

Red and green? It sounds like Christmas...

But hey, first we should celebrate different things like Fall, Halloween, Saint Nicholas... And the delayed birthdays. If you ask me it's our birthdays 366 days per year.

🤗♥️🍀

I've never had Christmas, Easter, Halloween, or any other similar celebration. Those traditions don't exist in my country, but from what I've seen, at least in movies and videos, it looks great. At least people connect and have something to celebrate in common. Well, we should all have a happy unbirthday.

Halloween is no custom in the Netherlands, the same counts for Valentine's Day and Christmas with presents. We used to have a tree with lights but... Christmas has nothing to do with the tree. The tree is a Germanic celebration belonging to midwinter (the longest night and light in the literally darkness).

If it comes to celebrations one can easily make own customs and join. There's no need to buy and do like others do or better the commercials tell you (and get into debt).

What all celebration days have in common is a day or few hours we share together preferably with laughter, good memories. We cannsing, dance, play games and build new memories with those close to us. Today it's easier. We have a phone, can take photos, photoshop them and even pretend we had a great time 😁

Jokes aside: whatever we undertake together eat or drink most important is you share time with someone.

The good news is that we have at least 364 unbirthdays per year

🤗♥️🍀
