I remember there was a time I hardly saw shadows or could catch them with my camera. The last is still a problem. I see these days plenty of shadows but taking a picture is a different story. There has to be a certain light source, bright enough to avoid taling dark pictures where shadows can't be noticed at all.
It feels as if in this tiny room the shadows reign (or is it the lamp on the ceiling?).
@geantech @almaguer @lupega @emmabritt @suryati, I hope you can join or leave comments. February is near and True Colours is back 🥳
Hi @wakeupkitty.pal, thanks for the invitation. You're absolutely right, lighting is key to finding a good shade, whether indoors with artificial light or outdoors in sunlight. Good lighting is key to a good shade. I loved reading your comment and seeing such great shadows. Thanks. See you later, friend.
This has a huge contrast
Coincidence...I guess the reason is because the room is tiny.
Meaning the light is near the object?
The bag and its steps in the shadow are defining another form, making it seem as if it were the face of an animal. If the real object is not visible in your photography, the shadow is rarely recognizable.
You're right, we can take photos that cast shadows, but we need a few extra touches. What I do is darken the photo a bit more so the shadow is more visible.
I wish you a happy weekend
I never thought you would put extra work into your shadow photos. 🤔
I guess I am too lazy for that or I just want my camera do the job. I always try to take the photo in that way I like to show it, no cutting, no changes...
I like to do things as well as possible, especially if it's something related to crystal
