Last week, I proposed a contest to be run on Saturdays, in answering @freedomshift's call to host a contest on a Saturday with full sponsorship.

So folks, I am happy to announce that today is the launch of the contest!!

Contest Overview

• This will be a weekly theme based contest.
• The weekly theme will be determined by yours truly 😁.
• The contest will trial run for 2 weeks first and then, we will see how it goes.

How to enter?

• Write a post about your favourite cartoon movie or movies. I know it can sometimes be hard to choose just one 😉.
• Leave a comment on this post with a link to your entry/post so that I know.
• If it is a valid #ccc entry (please read the #ccc rules section below), I will assign an entry number; otherwise, I will reply with any corrections needed.
• Upvotes and resteems are appreciated.

What makes a qualified #ccc entry ( #ccc rules)?

• 200+ words of original writing
• or if it is an artistic expression in the form of art, share 3+ original art process/progress photos and preferably a description for each photo.
• must use the #ccc tag as one of the 5 allowed tags.

How long does the contest run?

• The contest will run from Saturday to Saturday of the week.
• It closes at this post's payout. This way, you can check when the contest closes by clicking on the arrow dropdown next to the post's earning.
• The contest will trial run for 2 weeks and see how it goes.

What are the Rewards / Prizes ?

• 1 SBI for the winning #ccc qualified post. If you are wondering what is SBI:

Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.

• An SBD share from this post's payout for every qualified #ccc entry including the winner:
  • e.g. if this post earns 0.20SBD and if there are 5 entries, the earnings will be divided equally with 5 qualified entries, each contestant will get 0.04 SBD. This is my way of thanking each contestant for the effort that you put in, in entering the contest 🤗.
• Upvotes from me 🙃 (and the sponsor, depending on his schedule).

How will the winner be selected?

• Each qualified #ccc entry will be assigned a number, e.g. Entry #1, Entry #2 and so on.
• The winner of 1 SBI will be randomly selected via a random number generator.
• The Bonus Round winner of 1 SBI for every 6 qualified entries will also be selected randomly via a random number generator.
