I respect people's tastes, but I have never dedicated even 2 minutes to watching these dramas. I believe that we don't learn anything by watching them. Well, we do learn about infidelity, since it is the order of the day.

I am not sure if each Korean Drama is about being unfaithful, it's more about life and (excessive alcohol LOL) shedding some tears (or not).
It's my believe it's not different from all those dramatic series Hollywood makes and is shown on TV as long as I can remember.
I believe it makes others feel good and less pathetic if they see how others suffer even if it's only in a film.
These dramas and soap operas influence people to such an extent that they even cry when someone dies, and then they see that same person in another drama hahaha, they lost those moments of sadness, crying and more hahaha
Who knows they cry in real about their own sadness and just need something else to activate that flood. This way it's not too close.
