Stone that learned to flow

There was once a heavy stone lying in the middle of a river. Every day, it felt tired and useless, watching the water rush past it. “I will never move, I will never be anything,” it sighed.

One day, the river whispered, “You are not meant to stay still. Let me carry you.”

The stone resisted at first because it was afraid of the unknown. But slowly the water nudged it forward. Along the way the stone rolled, bumped, and scraped, but it also polished into a smooth, shining shape.

Finally, the river carried the stone to the ocean, where it became part of something vast and beautiful. The stone realized it had changed not despite the river, but because of it.

Sometimes, life pushes us in ways we resist. But growth often comes when we allow ourselves to move with the current, even if the path is uncertain.

So, never lose hope; never be hopeless.

I think it's a beautiful story. Is it a fairy tale or something from your childhood, or did you write it yourself? Among the Celts, stones are the oldest living beings and hold a wealth of information. I've always loved that story.
Incidentally, the stone has travelled. It came from a rock, and if it travels any longer, it could turn into sand.

Yes... you are right...as it travels more, it is smoothen more and lost some parts as sand....but to shine, it need to shade off that extras...

I wrote it since it explains my situation where I was absorbed in my comfort and was in fear to avail the unknown... But suddenly I was certain that I need to move out of the situation...

This inspires me and also a great lesson from my life.

You managed to build a great story around your situation. I admire you for that. We all arrive at a point where we have to move on, get out of our comfortzone or situation, to better our lives.

Yes that's right.... Getting out of comfort zone for betterment.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate your support.

Please, use hashtags! The first hashtag of this community is: #ccc

The AI text checker gives a 100 per cent AI text. How come?

Oh shit! Does it take paraphrasing as AI text?!
I surely will use hashtag from now on.

It says all is AI written and I could not nominate you and had to pull the votes back.
You are lucky you can keep the Ecoer vote.
Write yourself and don't let AI generate stories and translate and correct. 100% of your text.

In CCC you are not forced to write long epistels but you should be original and write yourself.

❤️

#wewrite are #creative & #comment

Yeah understoon... I actually drafted the story and then sent to ai to check grammars and paraphase the whole thing.....This all make sense...And I have learned my lesson...Thank you for not being too harsh with the situation and offering #ccc community.

I don't see any point in being harsh we all started once and I understand translators are used in many cases. The problem is AI tends also to rewrite so if you only want a translation, ask specifically for that.

Really a lovely tale, and with a good lesson. Congratulations 👏

Thank you so much... I was inspired to write the story based on my situation...

It is very good, you should write a tale's book on Amazon!

Wow! That's a good idea... I knew people write books on Amazon...but have never thought I could be one to write....So thank you a lot for opening this corner for me to consider.

Yeah, now it's easy because you could illustrate your book with AI generated images... I published one, years before AI so I couldn't added images. A tale's book is boring without images 😆

Yes you are absolutely right.....AI has made the books even more interesting!
