With us it works different. Indeed no credit card or loan if your income is low but also not if a high income and high expenses (every payment counts plus debts/loans) next to that no loan if you have no proof of being reliable if it comes to paying off your debts.

So you never had a loan, you have some savings but not sufficient and you never had debts or paid off? You can forget about it (unless you are a student good for paing off 40 years).
