It's a joke, surely this bird is used to people. I know of many birds that get scared very quickly when they see people because they chase them, but this bird is very happy.

We see these birds even in the streets, but they get scared easily. Imagine such a small animal in front of a human. The first thing it does is fly.
They do not fly away if they are used to seeing the people who feed them in their vicinity. They fly when they are used to fearing man because they are chased.
