Government Project Abandoned, Develop By The Village

Greetings to you all my great people,it is @etette,I want to write on one picture and a story,it about government . abandon project that is taken up by the village.
So I welcome everyone to read as I dropped the entry.

It was really a surprise and unbelievable story to the people of Ikot Antuen in Itu local Government Area Akwa Ibom State Nigeria, that the ongoing water project awarded and handled by government was abandoned and contractors live the site with out any reasonable excuses, what was confirmed was that they will soon come back to site, today after 6 good years of the project is not going forward,the community has been on serious drinking water challenges,the only Stream that is the only source of drinking water has being destroyed by the erosion cause by heavy rain fall. The topography of the land don't permit individuals drilling of borehole water, except government assistance or None Governmental Organization NGO do assist, but due to the suffering of lack of drinking water that makes government to intervene.

The issue now is that the 5000 capacity overheard Water tank has been abandoned,so it has become a challenge to the villagers,so now they have call on their senior sons and daughters to assist them in completing the project instead of bad boys to do away with those materials.

It is a good idea but a time we wonder how things like this in ongoing in our society.
It is not a small project but big one that involves big capital.
As I went to the location of the abandoned project,it is purely bad, how can government abandon such a project, but I thank God for the village seeking the needs to take over the project by writing to their local Government and they approved it to too.

I hope that very soon the village will have clean drinking water from the tank.
