The Cat Brought In A Bird For A Change
We've seen a plethora of mice and moles. Today must have been the second time when our cat brought in a bird. I was making dinner at the stove when I noticed the cat entered the kitchen holding something in its mouth. The prey was limp.
When I took a closer look I noticed it was a bird. The cat was about to begin eating it when I stepped in. We do not want a bloody mess on the kitchen floor. I took the bird to the patio, photographed it and put it away.
I wonder what species that bird is.

Hi markku. I think that bird is called a dead bird lol. You must feed your cat more so it doesn't have to hunt it's own food (joke). Some cats hunt more than others and yours is a hunter.
Definitely a huntress. A cute, relentless killing machine. :D
Maybe you should feed your cat raw meat.
I don't think it does this solely for the meat.

One of my cats is also a hunter! She killed one field mouse and a squirrel this weekend!

The bird was dead and it was immediately obvious. I don't want our cat eating too many of its pray because they might have parasites.
