Superstar Rajinikanth is one of the Biggest Cinema Icon in the world, and He has a massive fan page all over the world. At present Rajinikanth is working on his two upcoming films. As we know about the cast and crew of 2.0, the next movie of the superstar was said to be directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film was named as "Petta".

Superstar Rajinikanth’s 165th movie with director Karthik Subbaraj is titled Petta, which in colloquial Tamil and that means ‘locality’. On Friday, Sun Pictures who were producing this film released the title and motion poster of the movie on Twitter. The motion poster shows the actor entering a church with a candle stand.

The cast includes Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Trisha and Bobby Simha among others. Aniruth was the Music Director, and Sun Pictures produces it under their banner. More than five lakh people viewed the poster that went viral on Twitter and Facebook within the first three hours of its launch.
