Private Motor Car Museum Visit
Private Museum Visit:
Five days ago I wrote a post on our Trip to a private Motor museum, today I am posting a few photos of the museum.
Below you can see a nice Lancia, also note all the photos on the wall, all the walls are covered in interesting memorabilia.
What I loved about the museum is the entire way the museum is decorated, look at all the stuff on the walls. This part is dedicated to some nice Italian Fiats and Lancias.
Just look at the beautiful shine on this old red Fiat.
These Lancias are quite rare here in South Africa, all these cars are in great conditions.
When last did you see an old Fiat X19 like the example below. Also see the model cars in the cupboard behind the Fiat.
Just look at the nice beautiful little Fiat.
And again, just check out the wall decorations, it is just amazing, and to think this is all belonging to a few car enthusiasts.
This is only a small look into a few of the first cars in this museum, there are still a number of posts to follow, where I will show some more exotic cars.
I was really amazed by this place, and the detail that went into the decorations and the quality of the vehicles shown. When there are no visitors all the cars are covered under tarps and specially opened again when people are visiting. As I mentioned, this place is not open to the public, it can only be viewed on appointment.
The photos, were taken by me, with my iPhone, at the Checkered Club in Benoni, South Africa.

Thank you so much, I really loved the place.
Interesting and unusual collection.
Agreed.
I think they are so funny when compared with new cars. Thank you for interesting photos
Yes, if you compare them with today's cars, one realize how quickly technology has developed.
They all seem to be in perfect condition still!
Agreed, they are all in great condition.
x19 totally unreliable, but very beautiful. Always had a soft spot for that car.
I also like the look of the X19, here in South Africa, some of the people change the engine with a Nissan, or even a more sporty Toyota engine.
These are amazing brands of cars that was used during the latest 50s. These cars looks lovely and unique @rynow
