Ford EcoSport 2018 ST Line Review & Road Test
The Ford EcoSport first appeared in Europe 2014, the model we have is the revised version with new front and other additions.
This is for those looking for a rather funky compact crossover and you have 3 trims to choose from the Zetec, Titanium and the ST Line which we have.
This car has broadly speaking the charasterics of the Fiesta whilst driving, great handling, peppy engines including a diesel and even a 4x4 option, not surprsing seeing it is the same platform with a longer body and raised ride height.
We love the two tone too, Gold and Black really sets this car off, you can choose between one diesel and a range of 100ps to 140ps 3 cylinder 1 Litre Turbo engines, the EcoBoost to be exact.
It's very comfortable has a great infotainment system with Apple Car play etc and is tech loaded, including power folding mirrors and a rather quirky boot open.
The EcoSport, looks great, drives very well and returns around 40mpg with our spirited driving.
The range starts at just under £17,500 and tops out at around £22,000.
Is four wheel drive an option for this car in UK? in Germany unfortunately not.
Yes it is, on the diesel only though.
