Automotive: Mercedes-Benz Bring New A-Class & G63 This Year to Indonesia
Some time ago the Mercedes-Benz Indonesia became a hot conversation among the automotive enthusiasts of Indonesia related to sales data in 2017, but the problem has been completed and now Mercedes-Benz Indonesia time re-show the latest products. Yep, Mercedes-Benz Indonesia will bring its newest product line for the year 2018.
)In total there will be 10 new models from Mercedes-Benz which will be present in the Indonesian market in 2018, of course that number is not small and almost the same as its eternal rival, BMW. Well, among the ten models, there are two models that are enough to make us enthusiastic because they are also still very fresh in the global automotive market. Both products as you read in the title above are the latest Mercedes-Benz A Class and also Mercedes-Benz G63. Yep, both are still a very new product, even Mercedes-Benz A Class just completed its launch in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Mercedes-Benz A Class itself is scheduled to be present at the end of 2018.
)The latest Mercedes-Benz A Class will be presented to Indonesia with IKD scheme aka Incompletely Knocked Down. Yep, Mercedes-Benz Indonesia seems to want to take advantage of the IKD assembly opportunities as has been inaugurated by the Ministry of Industry. So, later Mercedes-Benz A Class status will be localized. Mercedes-Benz Indonesia, headed by PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia (MBDI) will also bring the Mercedes-Benz G63 as a representative of the latest Mercedes-Benz G Class series which also revealed its official form in early January 2018 yesterday. However, the MBDI itself will only bring the Mercedes-Benz G63 just to Indonesia, while other variants of the G Class is not.
)Why? The problem is the quota from the production of Mercedes-Benz G Class for the right wheel (Regulatory steering in Indonesia). Quoted from automotive page Liputan6, Roelof Lamberts, President & CEO of MBDI said that it has asked the Mercedes-Benz factory to consider the production of G Class Steering wheel besides the G63. But in reality the Mercedes-Benz factory in Austria is still considering it, even so with the diesel version for the Mercedes-Benz G Class. Constraints faced the same as diesel-engined cars today are reluctant to enter the country, Yap because of fuel quality problems in Indonesia. Well, in addition to these two products, the MBDI will also bring some other new products, such as the Mercedes-Benz CLS third generation. Of course, this step is taken by the Mercedes-Benz to strengthen it as a manufacturer of the best-selling permium in the ground water, because in the premium segment, the presence of a new car is a sales whack.
