Subaru Brumby electric powered.
Thus Subaru Brumby has been converted to electric motor drive and still runs it's awd system. Original setup used lead acid batters and was changed to lithium type batteries a couple of years ago. This increased it's performance a lot on acceleration and range per charge.

We had a Subaru Brat here for a very short time- kind of similar to that. The elec conversions have always fascinated me, I may have to do one.
Yes i believe the Brat and Brumby were basicly the same thing. Yes i did an electric push bike about 12 years ago to learn about electric drives. Still have thoughts of doing a vehicle converson sometime to.
