Interesting! Had no idea Vietnam setup a car manufacturing brand!

They are thinking big, obviously. With electric cars in making, too. At least on the drawing board :)

Incredible stuff, interesting times for the automobile industry!

Indeed.

Yet, we mustn't forget that the energy sector with all the infrastructure is lagging far behind the possible advancements in the field of electric locomotion.

Without charging stations with enough of clean power behind them connected with capable power lines all these shiny and new electric cars in the word are just a heap of high tech junk ...

Which also concerns me, there are huge power demands for countries like Thailand (where I am) and Vietnam, worrying plans to damn most of the Mekong river to power these SEA nations dreams of industrializing ... the Chinese are now burning more coal than any industrial revolution; can they come up with more sustainable means to make it all happen? I also doubt it, with too many corrupt generals in charge who'll make millions on the projects, and whose families will live happy ever after somewhere entirely different, like France. And we are back to square one (running out of oil / destroying the planet)
