Volvo and the 360C

Whenever we mention safety, we will always be referring to Volvo. And this is for a specific reason.

Now, they are coming up with the 360C. This is a colour, sound and visual based warning system that helps unconnected cars and users of the roads know the intentions of vehicles. This stems from the fact that autonomous vehicles will have a connected car standard that provides a platform for V to V (vehicle to vehicle) communication.

However, we know that this will not be any helpful to you if you are not on this platform and therefore, Volvo is cognisant of this, hence it is coming up with a solution. In that respect, Volvo request that there should be a new standard to regulate communication on such a platform.
