1964 Ferrari 330 GT Series 1
This summer, this stunning blue 1964 Ferrari 330 GT Series 1 will heading to auction through Bonhams during its Goodwood Festival of Speed sale for about $200,000.
History of the Ferrari 330 GT
The Ferrari 330 was produced from 1963 to 1968 in different series :
- first in 1963 the America based on the design of the 250 but with a V12 engine,
" a racing version with the 330 LMB, - in 1964, the 330 GT 2+2 was prsented at the Brussels show. Next year, the series II with a five speed gearbox,
- from 1965 to 1967, the GTC with coach work by ** Pininfarina** and another by Zagato. The Sphder version was presented at Paris.
- and another racing cars the 330 P in the mid 60's.
This model is from the first series of the GT 2+2 , recognizable with its quad headlights, its sharper nose and its tails.
Technical specification
Designed by Tom Tjaarda, American automobile desginer from Pininfarina, this 1964 330 has an V12 engine with a dual-circuit Dunlop braking system and Koni adjustable shock absorbers in order to improve the driving experience.
