Introduction - Hello Steemit!
Good day fellow Steemits!
My name is LeeAnne and I'm a born and bred Capetonian who has resided in this beautiful city for the past 40 years. I live and BREATHE Cape Town!
My Steemit account will be used to promote Cape Town and my idyllic life here :) I am not a travel agent, and don't even work within the tourism industry, but I am most happy to connect with anyone seeking to visit and advise from a very realistic point of view, what to do, see, eat, climb, swim etc
I am by nature an outgoing, social personality. I love photography - although it is only a hobby, and will often focus on surf photography which peeked my interest about 4 years ago. I hike Lions Head every Friday morning, although I am by no means a fitness freak! You might find MANY Lions Head pictures on my account because of this weekly hike. I do try and hike other spots around the city too.
I love traveling with my two furkids - so often seek out places to visit that are pet friendly. I love to eat out - and prefer to try different places as often as possible. My food favourites being sushi and burgers! Oh - and I LOVE to drive... so heading out on weekends to places that require a bit of fuel and time to reach, is always a treat! I am also a music fan - with no particular favourite genre, as I love to attend the outdoor trance / deep house parties, or an intimate acoustic session at one of our pubs, or concerts out in Kirstenbosch and surrounds.
Cape Town is also a great place for craft beer, craft gin and of course - WINE! You would never be able to cover even a 10th of our wine estates in a month of staying here!
Cape Town has it all! And I would seriously not live anywhere else in the world!

A few important tips: For security reasons only log in with your posting key as hacking via phishing websites is becoming a major problem here. Many bloggers here have lost lots. You should have used the introduceyourself tag to get a better response. You can copy and paste this post as another new post with the introduceyourself tag and then edit this post to show either nothing or something else. However only use the introduceyourself tag preferably once otherwise people can get upset. Good luck and enjoy steemit.
Hello ex Capetonian! Thank you for providing some key advice to a newbie! Much appreciated! I have been warned that logging in must be done using the key provided. I didn't at first understand why I couldn't change the password to something I could at least remember.. but I do now. Thank you for the hashtag suggestion.

Hi Lee Anne Ireland is treating me very well. I've just come back from seeing my South African dentist who is great. Always have your guard up here on steemit as there are many scammers who will try and take advantage of you. Steemit is controlled by the few idiots that were in on the start and can be very nasty - so be careful. You should consider minds.com as well. They are also changing over to the crypto reward method. You can post your stuff into both platforms so as to earn some extra cash. Unfortunately it takes a long time to get ahead on steemit. I have stopped posting and just trading the internal market as it is much less stressful. You are welcome to ask me any questions if you get stuck. Good luck and enjoy the journey.

Thanks for the heads up regarding scammers. I'll be sitting down with a friend soon who knows Steemit well to gain some insider knowledge and tips so that I'm not naive to fall into any scam.
Luckily I'm not here to make money. I really do wish to promote Cape Town and my photography.
No genius my South African dentist in Ireland. I look forward to seeing your photography. Consider adding the camera's details with the photos as it is always interesting. Sometimes people will take your photos and post it as their own so watermark them if you can. :)
