I've learned 2 important lessons in life that I think every person should know.
The first nugget of wisdom was shared with me by a good friend of mine who is 15+ years older than me. She told me that I don't owe anyone an explanation for my feelings, my opinions or for the decisions that I make in life.
The second nugget of wisdom comes from the mind of my 6 year old niece. She had been reprimanded for her actions by an acquaintance of my sister's after her swimming lessons, (one night) because she wasn't listening to her mother. On the drive home she questioned her mother as to who the Lady was and simply said "She has no right to judge me. She doesn't know my life."
Good girl! I thought. I'm going to make sure that she never looses her ability to think for herself or looses her confidence in life.
(Just so I'm clear, I'm the "crazy Auntie".)

Exactly @englishtchrivy! I hope someone reads all of this 100 years from now and gets how hard life in this world can be in this time period. I like to feel like we are progressive but often I feel like we are just staggering out of the dark ages. If I have to be "that" woman who admits that she likes to have really good orgasms and that there is a difference that can be graded than so be it! (Forever on the blockchain and I will help all my brothers and sisters on this damn planet.)
