We have some big wins on the way during this midterm election and many people are soon to be living better lives with more freedom than ever before.

We have news laws/regulations on the ballot in four states, two of them, Utah and Missouri, are deciding if they are going to allow medicinal cannabis use and another two, North Dakota and Michigan, are likely voting for full recreational/adult-use legalization.
However, I believe I should start this series of articles In Wisconsin where they are only beginning to roll back the burdensome regulations that get the whole process going to show how it all can happen for even the most strict state.

If you want your own legislature to represent you, this is what I consider to be the most important steps you may have to take to get your local lawmakers to listen to you. In the state of Wisconsin, the path to full legalization Is going to be quite the long one but if the freedom advocates there stick to fighting the cause it will be only a matter of time.

This November 6th, the voters there will have a broad range of questions about what forms of cannabis beyond CBD-oil for medicinal use. At present people can obtain and posses CBD products only through a strict process which only a few people even qualify to apply. Another hindrance for the people is that they cannot produce their own cannabis products and have to rely on imports. That of course allows the federal government to assert their authority over this situation through the interstate commerce clause in our constitution. That's got to change if they want to be free from false persecution by the DEA and other federal agencies.

I clipped the following out of the official referendum list PDF from the State website. It had quite a lot of other information about tax caps and the regular issues of the expanding government but I tried to be thorough and find the cannabis related items to make it easier to see what is going on there, Excel documents, got to love them.

That is, in my opinion, a great amount of progress and will make for a very busy election day all over the State of WI. Unfortunately when these measure pass they won't immediately go into law, instead it goes to the local legislature for a vote first. That means that even after the liberty advocates win this fall they still have to keep the political pressure on their reps so that they get put on to the house floor for a vote. It is the way their government is set up the people there should be used to the process so I am not worried about the peoples follow through. It looks like the resolve of the voters there is strong and the truth about cannabis is hopefully going to win the day.

I hope this helps get the right information out to the right people and my follow up post will be a celebration. Please follow my blog here @gregorypatrick for my next article about the midterms where I will get into all the amazing things happening in Missouri.

Interesting, I didn't know there were any pot related questions on the Wisconsin ballot this coming election.
I know Michigan has the recreational question on the November ballot by referendum. They got 3 times the necessary signatures necessary to get it on the ballot, so I think it has a reasonable chance of passing.
I live in Upper Michigan, so I'm looking forward to seeing that happen. I live about 5 miles from the Wisconsin border, so that should be interesting also.

I was thinking of doing my next article about Michigan, great news coming out of there for sure :)
