Pot legal in Canada.
Now that pot is legal in Canada (which is awesome), prices for fruits & vegetables are set to rise.
They believe a lot of farmers, especially those who grow their produce in greenhouses, are starting to grow POT instead of lettuce and tomatoes as they can make SIXTY times more money growing pot.
Pot is a big boost for the economy and our planets wellbeing, so maybe grow our own fruit and veg and trade with neighbours and friends.
I agree that we should grow our own fruits and vegetables. But, to say that produce prices will rise now that the government is high-jacking the cannabis industry is a lie that the government wants us to believe. They aren't even giving out enough licenses to affect the Market.
Even if it did affect the Market, more people would get into vegetable gardening as others leave it and supply and demand would correct. If growing pot is really 60x more profitable than produce, there's corruption going on.
