It is so bad, I have been laughing throughout the day at the word extragenius ..the likelihood that the ship's "most educated" came up with this to make each other laugh is horrible. The fact it has remained hidden like the Oak Island Treasure for hundreds of years is incredible. No one thought to consider the etymology of the term for the displaced people of Earth.
European ships came equipped with a word for those who were displaced and stripped of resources ..that means the acts were deliberate and premeditated. This included the addition of terms to the English language for the purpose of human trafficking by self-appointed superiority.
The custody of human beings by their sovereign must logically be included in maritime law.
